at Valencia Cay Clubhouse

A new “private” restaurant located within Riverland of Port St. Lucie

The clubhouse offers a great dining experience with indoor dining, beautiful poolside and patio seating. Our community is renowned for its fun and friendly atmosphere, making it a desirable place to reside and work. We expect lively happy hours, social events, and much more for the community. Keeping the workplace fresh and exciting.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry. We want our team to have a fun and friendly attitude that will produce a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for all of the community members. We believe that this work environment has all the benefits, if not more, than a typical restaurant. Since we are a private restaurant within a community, we plan to have ideal work hours and consistent repeat customers. Salary: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour.

Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interaction while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to the guests’ needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.

Prior experience in one of the following roles and brands: Bartender, server, or other part time FOH jobs, in such restaurant like Kyle G’s, PGA National, Cheesecake Factory, Longhorn Steak House, Lynora's is highly desirable.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Requirements:
• High energy and Passion for the business.
• Positive Attuite, Good Listener, Personable and Gracious.
• Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Previous bartending experience - min 1 year
• Knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
• The ability to multi-task
• Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remember names a plus
• Follow company policies and applicable laws.
• An understanding of health & safety and food safety regulations (Serve Safe)
• If required by Law - Alcohol training and/or Bartender's license

Responsibilities
• Make Fantastic Drinks.
• Develop customer relations/meet guest expectations/name retention.
• Keep bar clean and organized.
• Greet guests and take orders from the servers or directly from guests.
• Manage – Costs, stock levels, inventory, and equipment.
• Assist making schedules and managing shifts.
