Driver/Mover Position Available | S.B. Taylor Moving | South Portland, ME
S.B. Taylor Moving, a federally licensed, women-owned moving company serving York and Cumberland counties, is seeking a professional driver/mover to join our team.
About S.B. Taylor Moving: We've built our reputation on a unique approach to moving services - combining 20+ years of healthcare and caregiving expertise with professional moving operations. Our philosophy is simple: we're caregivers who happen to move furniture. This trauma-informed approach has made us a trusted name throughout Southern Maine, with clients who request us by name.
The Position: We're seeking someone who can both drive our 26-foot box truck and work as part of our moving crew. While driving capability is our primary focus, this is a hands-on role that requires physical capability and a commitment to our service standards.
What Sets This Opportunity Apart: We value coachability and character over previous moving experience. In fact, we often prefer to train the right person from the ground up rather than work around industry habits that don't align with our dignity-centered approach.
