Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand and meet their needs.
  • Understand and apply local, state, and federal electrical codes.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate daily/weekly tasks with Project Manager/Foreman.
  • Work independently and proactively to plan and execute tasks.
  • Interact professionally with other trades.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work site.
  • Participate actively in job-site processes to help management anticipate and overcome potential conflicts or work flow issues.
  • Present a professional appearance to customers, other trades, and the public.
  • Set and pursue career goals, such as certifications, licensing, classes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience with low-voltage installations, including data/comm, fiber, HVAC controls, Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control.
  • Ability to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, bending, crawling, climbing, balancing, repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
  • Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision or with a team to complete projects on time.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug screening test and background check.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift. Weekend work and overtime are available. The successful candidate must be able to commute or relocate to Arden, NC.
