About the Role:

As the Process Engineering Manager, you will provide direction for the process department while promoting continuous improvement for a new plant. This is an exciting opportunity to implement continuous improvement best practices across multiple departments. You will develop new designs and modifications to the equipment to improve the production capability and the quality standards. As a Process Engineering Manager, you will lead process improvement projects in different manufacturing production processes, using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Plant Management and cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, conduct root cause analyses, and implement impactful process improvements across the organization.
  • Maintain seamless process operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing project, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Lead transformative projects to optimize end-to-end processes, including setup, validation, and audit measurement systems, ensuring measurable business impact.
  • Resolve quality challenges by identifying issues, evaluating solutions, implementing action plans, and allocating necessary resources.
  • Lead and inspire the Plant Engineering Team, driving innovation and operational excellence.
  • Communicate key initiatives and updates to the Manager of Plant Operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Drive productivity and process improvement projects that align with broader business initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement by conducting quality awareness sessions and delivering Six Sigma Belt training programs.
  • Coach project teams to meet certification requirements and achieve quality and process improvement objectives.
  • Contribute to team success by delivering results that align with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry advancements by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, building personal networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
  • Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
  • Instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma training/certification preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a Process Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment involved with product trials, customer complaints and product testing
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience leading/supervising/managing high-performance teams in a similar environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to lead and train others in a fast-paced environment
