Women’s Health Consultants is a well-established, highly regarded private practice of OB/GYN Physicians dedicated to providing the highest-quality, individualized health care and service to our patients. We are a group of 13 physicians, as well as nurse practitioners, located in Minneapolis, MN.

We currently partner with two hospitalists, and we’re seeking to expand our hospitalist program with a BC/BE OB/GYN physician. 

The OB/GYN Hospitalist manages labor and delivery as well as coverage of the ER for our private practice patients. The OB/GYN Hospitalist provides patient point of care and manages OB/GYN emergencies with physician back up. We are also supported by a perinatal physician group and another hospitalist group. 

We are affiliated with Allina Healthcare, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, with access to a Level III NICU and an outstanding local Children’s Hospital. 

This position offers full- or part-time OBG Hospitalist work, with 5-7 24-hour shifts or 10-14 evening shifts per month. Gynecology experience and gyn emergency coverage preferred but negotiable.

• Manage labor and delivery of our private practice patients.
• Provide coverage of the Emergency Room (ER).
• Provide patient point of care and manage OB/GYN emergencies (with physician back up).
• Support: Supported by a perinatal physician and a hospitalist group.
• Requirements/Preferences:
• BC/BE OB/GYN physician is required.
• Gynecology experience and GYN emergency coverage are preferred but negotiable.

Scheduling/Shifts: The position offers full-time or part-time work:

• Option 1 (24-hour shifts): 5-7 shifts per month.
• Option 2 (evening shifts): 10-14 shifts per month.
