Job Description
PSG has partnered with a growing company in the healthcare industry looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team supporting payroll operations across their five Colorado facilities. This position works closely with the Payroll Manager and plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing for a large, primarily hourly workforce.
Job Duties
- Process biweekly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees across five Colorado facilities
- Support a mix of hourly and salaried employees
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Partner with the Payroll Manager to oversee day-to-day payroll operations and process improvements
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits
- Utilize Paylocity for payroll processing and reporting
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with employee inquiries and provide payroll support as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location or high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of Colorado payroll laws and tax requirements
- Experience with Paylocity or similar payroll systems preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable working remotely, with occasional requirement to visit on-site locations in Colorado
