Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay Rate: $22–$28 per hour (Based on experience)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in an elementary school setting in Ashburn, VA . This role involves working one-on-one or in small groups with students who have behavioral, developmental, or communication needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and in collaboration with educators, the RBT will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to support student success and IEP goals.
ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Provide direct student support in general education and special education environments
Assist students with classroom participation, transitions, and daily routines
Collect and document behavioral data (frequency, duration, ABC data) accurately and consistently
Support development of communication, social, play, and daily living skills
Utilize de-escalation strategies and follow safety protocols as needed
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families while maintaining confidentiality
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or behavioral needs, preferably in a school setting
Knowledge of ABA techniques including reinforcement, prompting, and fading
Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
Strong communication and documentation skills
Physical ability to assist students and implement safety procedures as required
