Registered Dietitian – 13 Week Assignment

Location: Watertown, New York

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nutrition care and support to patients in acute care or long-term care settings. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with healthcare technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed
• Document care accurately using Point Click Care and Meditech systems
• Educate patients and families on nutrition and dietary needs
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics required
• Registered Dietitian credentialed with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Registration Eligible required
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in New York State preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in acute care or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• MS Word, Excel, Outlook
