Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Registered Dietitian, located in the North Dallas, Texas area, with some work from home flexibility. This role is for long-term care and skilled nursing.

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for:

• Providing expert guidance on residents’ nutritional care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational and speech therapists, nursing staff, and the nutrition services team.
• Serve as an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team (IDT).
• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents.
• Monitor and document nutritional care for residents with wounds, renal conditions, weight concerns, and those who are tube-fed.
• Lead and participate in Quality Assurance audits to ensure high standards of care.
• Conduct nutrition-focused physical assessments to support individualized care planning.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Dietetics and Medical Nutrition Therapy
• Skills in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management
• Strong knowledge of general Nutrition
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technological skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or Eligible to sit for RD Exam (RD2B).
• Must hold RD credential through CDR and be licensed in the State of Texas.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
