Job Description

Job Title: Route Service Representative

Reports To: District Manager

Location: Pine City, MN

Salary Grade: $20 to $24 USD/hour

JOB SUMMARY

A Route Service Representative is the position that has been our most sought service job historically. The duties of a Route Service Representative revolve around the ability to build customer relationships and provide quality service. It can be similarly close to what a Route Service Apprentice does. The big difference between the two is that Route Service Representatives or RSRs, will have complete ownership of their route. We empower them to be the main point of contact for all route communications to overcome any customers' obstacles, since they are the people that the customers see and interact with weekly. They are also expected to stay focused on the weekly changes that the customer may demand, such as new employees who need uniforms, making sure that they don't run out of paper and soap products, and answering any billing questions that the customers may have. In this position, you are also required to work the full 40 hours.

As an RSR, you are paid based on the volume of services you provide with an overtime rate. Most of the folks that we have in this field can earn anywhere from $40,000 to $90,000. The RSRs that have been with CITY for a while do their best to build solid customer relationships and make sure that they purchase all products and services that CITY can offer, which leads them to a higher wage range.
