Senior Structural Engineer

$100,000 – $130,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role

A well-established engineering firm is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and deliver challenging building projects. This is a senior-level position with a balance of technical design, project oversight, and team mentorship. You’ll be a key contributor from concept through construction, ensuring innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for buildings, foundations, retaining walls, and related systems
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and peer reviews
• Review and approve drawings, calculations, and project documents
• Provide technical solutions to complex structural challenges
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
• PE or SE license
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with commercial, parking, or infrastructure projects is a plus
