Hiring Agency Justice & Public Safety Cabinet | Department of Corrections Location 3111 Spurr Road Lexington, KY 40511 USA Description The Kentucky Department of Corrections (DOC), Division of Adult Institutions operates the correctional facilities that house Kentucky's adult inmate population. The mission of the DOC is to protect the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and to provide a safe, secure, and humane environment for staff and offenders in carrying out the mandates of the legislative and judicial processes. The DOC provides opportunities for offenders to acquire skills which facilitate non-criminal behavior. The Blackburn Correctional Complex is currently seeking a Locksmith Administrator, which has the primary responsibility for the development, installation, and maintenance of the lock systems at the institution. Responsibilities May IncludeHigh school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of experience in the installation and repair of locks. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional experience in the installation and repair of locks will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
