Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – School-Based

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 and/or small-group behavioral support for students in a school-based setting in Gardner, Massachusetts . The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support students’ academic, social, and emotional success.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA
• Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support within the classroom or school environment
• Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Assist with skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with school and district policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children or adolescents with autism and/or behavioral needs preferred
• School-based or classroom experience strongly preferred
• Ability to follow behavior plans and collect data accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule & Setting

• School-based position in Gardner, MA
• Monday–Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar
• Consistent daytime hours (no evenings or weekends)
