Associate - Fund Finance
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Salary: $260,000 to $420,000 depending on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with experience in Fund Finance and related areas to take on significant responsibility and work with top-tier clients, including leading banks, asset managers, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle complex fund finance transactions, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leveraged finance, and NAV financings.
Advise clients on fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, and acquisition financings.
Draft, review, and negotiate key financing documents.
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on deal structuring and strategy.
Build relationships with preeminent financial institutions, asset managers, and lending clients.
Provide insightful legal counsel in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates.
Qualifications:
J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials.
Experience at a law firm or in-house, specializing in fund finance, syndicated lending, leveraged finance, CLOs, or acquisition financings.
Strong technical expertise in fund finance transactions, including asset-based lending, NAV financings, and fund formation.
Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
