This is a short term contract in Iselin NJ for one of our leading clients.

Solid SDLC skills with C#.NET, Angular, HTML, CSS and .NET Core

No 3rd Parties or H1B's or OPT/CPT

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining new and existing software that meets the company's specifications and goals. He or she will work directly with senior managers and other team members on the vision and progress of software and implementation projects. The Senior Software Developer will have extensive knowledge of the .Net framework, including the entire Framework Class Library.

The Senior Software Developer must be able to work well in a small team environment and also independently. The Senior Software Developer will be able to integrate other programming languages into the systems to ensure seamless functionality. He or she will troubleshoot and develop solutions to evolving challenges and maintain a healthy curiosity about new technology and innovations.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Software Developer will have a strong knowledge of software architecture design patterns and should be able to recommend best practices for software development.
• The Senior Software Developer will have strong knowledge of the entire Project Lifecycle with the ability to establish deadlines, work within them and deliver high-quality results within budget.
• The Senior Software Developer will work closely with senior management and other team members to brainstorm solutions to bugs, technological weaknesses, and security issues.
• The Senior Software Developer must remain up to date on the latest software changes and adapt programming to them.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science is preferable.
• At least 10 years of Experience in the development of MV* types of applications and a thorough knowledge of the .NET framework
• Experience developing Restful web services using Web API and .Net Core
• Experience with developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript and Object-Oriented Technologies.
• Experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular 7.0/+
• Experience using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps, logical apps, app services are a plus.
• Prior experience of Microsoft Azure Server less technologies is a Plus.
• Knowledge of No-SQL Databases is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must function well under deadline pressure.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must have experience mentoring other Junior developers in the team.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to mentor Junior developers.
