Axios Recruitment’s Events Staffing team has played a pivotal role in the West Michigan entertainment community for over 35 years. We are seeking a driven and service-minded Events Staffing Coordinator who embodies our core values, thrives in high-energy environments, and is passionate about supporting both clients and employees across large-scale events and venues.

Position Overview

The Events Staffing Coordinator is responsible for leading recruitment and consistent talent attraction efforts, onboarding and training new employees, maintaining retention, and overseeing client billing and payroll for event staffing employees. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can balance the needs of clients and staff while ensuring smooth and successful event execution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide staffing for a variety of local events and venues
• Recruit, screen, hire, onboard, and train event employees
• Develop and execute talent attraction and retention strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and employees
• Coordinate event schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Deliver exceptional service that results in positive employee, client, and guest experiences
• Oversee team recruitment and scheduling across all event staffing clients and venues
• Implement and continuously improve operational processes for recruitment, retention, and payroll
• Provide onsite assistance as needed, depending on event scale and team requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in large-scale recruitment, preferably within entertainment, hospitality, or events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong balance of process orientation and service mindset
• Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• High sense of urgency and commitment to delivering exceptional service
